Therapeutic activities outside are good for wellbeing, physical and mental health and can help reduce isolation and increase happiness.
We support people on their wellbeing journey, in safe, supportive and friendly outdoor spaces. Our projects are run by professional and qualified staff with a combined experience of over 50 years of delivering horticultural therapy activities for a wide range of client groups.
Our projects are located in geographic locations across Brighton, Hove and Sussex – from urban allotments and parks to downland and farms. We run a range of activities such as:
- Short courses on nature & wellbeing, with transport provided
- Weekly open volunteer days at a range of outdoor sites
- One-off ‘taster’ sessions or group activities
- Outdoor activities focused on bringing together people with similar experiences, eg group for survivors of abuse and sexual violence or for people with dementia.
